The Gate

  Doors or Gates are everywhere! They can be declared rude, mean and destructive by those who have not been invited in or those who desire to gain access by their own terms (bypassing any protocol set for access). Children often express what they observe in the adult world, and this is true to doors too. They often feel entitled. Entitlement professes certain rights, like full freedom and control of spaces that have doors. What is a door, or from John 10 – who is the door? And what does that say about control, access, position, authority and freedom? What does it say about a space that has a door?
