Messy Family

There are no perfect families! Each one of us will have a wide variety of family experiences and with each experience everyone learns something. It is true that just because you learned something doesn’t necessarily mean that the information was internalized. Some families repeat reactions and create generational habits that should have been dissected and discarded along the way. You and I don’t have a choice on rules and mores that our family holds to but as we come into adulthood, we can analyze their effect and determine their benefit. Basically, here’s the truth – every family is messy, imperfect and a blessing at the same time. The question is, what have you learned?
